Chalet style rear open letterbox with a Deluxe Post for classic ornate homes
Customers can purchase a rear open Chalet cast Aluminium Letterbox with a deluxe post. The deluxe post includes a paper holder, number plate and scrolls.
The Chalet is a classic style letterbox with the ornate deluxe post. This is ideal for “Queenslander” homes or homes with ironwork.
To reduce costs of freight the post comes in two pieces. Self tapping screws are provided. Extension pieces are available at additional charge. 60mm (2-3/8 inch) numbers suit this number plate.
Furthermore the Chalet is not Australia Post compliant as A4 mail can’t lie flat inside. This letterbox is made from Australian made castings and wholly manufactured in our Brisbane factory by hand. This is a rear opening letterbox with the rear door 195mm wide x 100mm high with a top hinge.
Finally customers can choose the powder coat colours for their letterbox. Being modular a different colour can be chosen for the post.
Due to anomalies within cast aluminium that can interfere with powder coating, it has been noted the powder coating on the roof of the Chalet and Alpine cannot be guaranteed to adhere to the castings and have been known to chip over time. If this is an issue, we recommend our model Dacha (223) which is a similar shape, however, does not have a cast aluminium roof.
