The Grande Letterbox post is part of our premium range. It has a powder coated 85mm fluted central post with reversible shingle. In addition there is a newspaper holder. Bolted to opposite is a letterbox mounting bracket. Furthermore sitting atop the central post sits a fleur de lys to complete the fancy look.
The number shingle is double sided. Hence this post can be installed either way to suit the customers personal preference. The shingle can take 76mm (3 inch) numbers quite comfortably. With this shingle you can actually have the numbers on both sides.
To reduce freight costs this post comes in three pieces to be screwed together. Self tapping screws are supplied with the post. However we can manufacture the post in one piece upon request.
This post is longer as is it recommended to install one third section in the ground for stability. (About 600mm is to go into the ground.)
Finally for compliance with Australia Post, this post has been designed so that the mail slot of your letterbox (additional cost) is within 600-900mm from the ground. Two examples using the Grande post are the Chalet Grande and the Alpine Grande.
