Cast brass front plate with key lock and optional sleeve enclosure
Customers can purchase a front opening plate with key lock. The plate is 355mm wide x 170mm high.
In addition a closed ended galvanized sleeve or stainless steel sleeve can also be purchased. As the galvanized sleeve/stainless steel sleeve is a fixed length we would need to know the depth required. We assemble the unit in our factory so when it arrives at site the customer only needs to slip it into the existing cavity or build around it. The sleeve is 343mm wide x 159mm high (up to 470mm deep as determined by the customer). Custom sleeves deeper than 470mm can be manufactured at additional cost.
Customers who want to retrieve their mail from the front and want it key-locked would find this product suitable. The front opening plate is also available with hasp lock (see 9214-525x-540x). Please enquire with The Letterbox Man.
Finally it comes in a variety of finishes: Bright Chrome, Polished Brass and Satin Chrome.
