The Deluxe Letterbox Post comes with a central 65mm fluted aluminium post. The left side of the post has a small flourished number plate and 85mm x 257mm fluted paper holder. In addition a scrolled mounting bracket is bolted on the right side. Also sitting atop the central post is a lovely fleur de lys.
The number plate can easily take 60mm (2-3/8 inch) numbers.
Discerning customers tend to choose this letterbox post. This post sets off old Queenslander style homes or homes with ironwork. Furthermore it has a classical feel to it. The number place scroll is single sided so this box is not left and right reversible.
The Deluxe post comes in two pieces to be screwed together, thereby reducing the cost of freight. Self tapping screws are supplied with the post. However we can manufacture the post in one piece upon request
In conclusion for compliance with Australia Post, this post has been designed so that the mail slot of your letterbox (additional cost) sits between 600-900mm from the ground. (This leaves 300-600mm to go into the ground.)
