Cast Brass Front and Back Plates 270Wx165H with Key Lock and Optional Sleeve
Customers can purchase polished cast brass front/back plates. The front and back plates are 270mm wide x 165mm high.
The mail slot opening is 234mm wide x 30mm high. This is suitable for A4 mail if your wall is over 310mm deep.
The back plate has an opening of 238mm wide x 130mm high and comes complete with a lock and 2 keys.
In addition customers can purchase an optional sleeve.
The sleeve is the connecting piece in-between the front and back plates and is made from aluminium, galvanised steel or stainless steel. Sleeves are 348 wide x 166 high and suitable for wall depths of 190~470mm deep. Custom sleeves deeper than 470mm can be manufactured at additional cost.
Aluminium sleeves are made from 1.0mm thick aluminium. Galvanised and stainless steel sleeves are 0.55mm thick.
If you do not choose to purchase the sleeve, your installer will need to find a method to fix the front and back plates to the wall.
Furthermore the front and back plates come in a variety of finishes; Bright Chrome, Polished Brass and Satin Chrome.
